KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's tennis was victorious over Jacksonville State with a 6-1 win on Friday morning. With the win, the Owls (12-5) collected their second ASUN conference victory of the season.

Soomin Kim were tied 5-5, but the set went unfinished when the Owls secured two doubles matches.
In singles play, KSU claimed three, two-set, victories to secure the overall win over the Gamecocks. Muzik defeated her opponent 6-2, 6-4, on court one.
Amulika Gottiparthy picked up her first win of the season defeating Balsen Kaya by a score of 6-3, 6-3 on court six. Taddia then sealed the match point and won 6-2, 6-3 on court four.
Lee and Pinedo were the last two singles matches to finish, both defeating their opponents to push the overall score to 6-1.
Next Up
KSU is back in action on Sunday, Apr. 10 as the team hosts Lipscomb on Senior Day. Match time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Betty Siegel Courts.
