KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's tennis cruised to victory against Lipscomb 5-2 on Senior Day. With the win, the Owls (13-5) collected their second consecutive and third overall ASUN conference victory of the season.

Sophia Unger.

Valentina Taddia were down 2-5, but the set went unfinished when the Owls secured two doubles matches.
In singles play, KSU won four of the six matches to secure the overall win over Lipscomb. Muzik defeated Kate Popova 6-3, 6-1, on court one. Taddia pushed the overall score to 3-1 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Liza Diachenko.
Ji Youn Lee then sealed the match point with a 6-1, 6-2 win on court three.
Amulika Gottiparthy picked up her second straight win of the season defeating Eleanor Chapman by a score of 6-2, 6-4 on court six.
Next Up
KSU is back on the road Thursday, Apr. 14 as the team takes on North Alabama. Match time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. CT) at the UNA Varsity Tennis Courts.
