KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team will put its five-game win streak on the line Saturday as the Owls faceoff against 21
st-ranked Jacksonville in an ASUN showdown. The match starts at 3 p.m. and will be available on ESPN+.

» This is the eleventh meeting between the Dolphins and the Owls in program history. The Owls will look to secure their first victory on Saturday over the Dolphins, who bring a four-game win streak of their own into the game.

Siena Gore is the driving force behind the Owls' scoring production, as the senior midfielder is currently the nation's leading scorer at 64 total goals and first in goals per game (4.92). The Alphraetta, Ga. native is also first in the NCAA in points (79), and fifth in draw controls (8.46 pg)

» Gore isn't the only Owl that is shining in 2022. As a team, KSU is currently ranked first in the NCAA in shot percentage (.506) and tied for 10th in free percentage (.516). Their 15.31 goals per game average is also the 17th-highest in the country.

» KSU is currently off to the best start in school history at 9-4, as the nine wins is also a new school standard.

» One advantage for Kennesaw State heading into the schedule, the Owls return nine of 11 starters from last year's squad, and a total of 20 overall players.Â
SCOUTING THE DOLPHINS
Attacker Sarah Elms leads offensive production for the Dolphins with 36 goals and 10 assists on the season. Fellow attacker Jenny Kinsey is second in points, with 26 goals and 11 assists. Protecting the net will be likely be sophomore Paige Pagano, who has 32 saves and a .561 save percentage on the season.Â

GORE HOLDS NATION'S TOP MARK IN 2022
In what is no surprise for the nation's leading scorer,
Siena Gore's nine-goal performances against Butler on March 12 and Presbyterian on March 20 is currently the top mark in the NCAA this season. Those two single-game marks also tie her career high and is the KSU school record as well.

OWLS OFF TO SCHOOL-RECORD SETTING START
KSU's impressive start to the year has been one for the record books, as the team's 9-4 record in the first 13 games is the best-ever in the team's 10-year history. The previous best mark after 11 games was in 2017 when the team was 6-5, on the way to an 8-9 season. The team's nine wins are the most in program history as well.

OFFENSIVE PRODUCTION FOR THE OWLS
Graduate transfer
McKenzie Jackson has accumulated 24 goals (second on the team) and 27 draw controls so far this season. The attacker was a two-time First-Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection for Embry-Riddle. Also ranking high on the squad is senior
Chesslyn Lamar who is having a career season, and is currently third on the squad in goals (22) and second in points (30). She is also tied fourth in the NCAA in free position percentage (.750).

JACKSON JOINS ASUN HONORS

McKenzie Jackson picked up her first ASUN Player of the Week on April 5 after a six-goal effort against Stetson to open conference play. The award was the fifth consecutive Player of the Week award for the Owls.Â

The Owls will host their first ASUN conference matchup of the season against Delaware State on Saturday April 16 at 12 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
