KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State wide receiver
Caleb O'Neal has been selected as a member of the 2022 National Football Foundation (NFF) Hampshire Honor Society. This group is comprised of college football players from all divisions of the NCAA, NAIA and sprint football who each maintained a cumulative 3.2 GPA or better throughout their college careers.
O'Neal registered a 3.43 GPA while majoring in Biology and participating on the KSU football team. The graduate was also selected to the Big South's All-Academic team during his final season. On the field, O'Neal started all 13 games in 2021 and caught a career-high five touchdown passes.
The wide receiver was involved in multiple areas of community service and has participated in Read Across America, Adventure Center Field Days (Mission 1:27) and KSU's Hoot Out Hunger. O'Neal was also a member of the Football Players Committee and is on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Tomorrow, O'Neal will make his broadcasting debut during the Owls' Spring Game. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium and admission is free to the public. The annual game will be broadcasted on ESPN+. Fans can tune in by clicking
