KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's tennis got back in the win column with a 4-0 victory vs Bellarmine on Sunday morning. With the win, the Owls (11-2) collected their first ASUN conference victory of the season.

The Owls secured the doubles point with a 6-1 win from
Taylor Dean /
Soomin Kim and a 6-0 victory from
Sophia Unger/
Sofia Pinedo.
Valentina Taddia /
Ji Youn Lee were up 3-2, but the set went unfinished when the Owls secured two doubles matches.
In singles play, KSU claimed three, two-set, victories to secure the win over the Knights. Kim shutout her opponent 6-0, 6-0 on court six. Pinedo followed suit on court five and was victorious 6-2, 6-1. Unger then sealed the match point and won 6-3, 6-0 on court four.
Lee and Taddia were each up in their singles matches but went unfinished when Kennesaw State earned the overall victory.
Next Up
The Owls travel to Florida for a pair of ASUN Conference matches. KSU is back in action on Friday, Mar. 25 as the team will face off with North Florida. Match time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex.
