JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Kennesaw State women's tennis dropped its match to North Florida 6-1 on Friday afternoon. The Owls suffered their third defeat on the 2022 season but will look to bounce back on Sunday.
How it Happened
The Ospreys jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point.
Sofia Pinedo and
Sophia Unger were trailing 3-4 when they went unfinished after UNF secured the doubles point. In singles action, UNF won four straight singles matches to secure the overall win and go up 5-0.
Taylor Dean was able to get the lone Owls' point defeating Summer Yardley 2-6, 6-4, 6-3.
Next Up
KSU is back in action on Sunday as it travels to Stetson. Match time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Mandy Stoll Tennis Center.
