KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis defeated Bellarmine 6-1 on Sunday afternoon. The win secured the Owls their second ASUN Conference victory and  moved them to 10-4 overall.
 
The Owls won the doubles point and three singles matches to grab the victory.
 
Harvey Conway and 
Raul Garcia picked up a 6-1 win over Matthew Rice and Emil B. Berglund on court three.  
Daniel Botti and 
Seru Tezuka defeated Paul Reynolds and Xavier Ecarma 6-1 on court two to clinch the point.
 
Jackson Lee got the Owls on the board first in singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Matthew Rice.  
Hugo Salmeron won his 9th straight match defeating Xavier Ecarma 6-1, 6-1 on court five. 
Kevin Patel clinched the win for the Owls defeating Jack Batchelor 6-2, 6-0. The remaining singles matches were still played to finish with Tezuka picking up a 6-0, 6-4 win on court four and Conway defeating Paul Reynolds 4-6, 6-2, 10-4 on court three. Bellarmine won the last singles point with KSU taking the overall victory 6-1 against the Knights.
 
KSU will travel to North Florida on Friday, March 25. Match Time is set for 2:00 p.m. at the UNF Tennis Complex.
