KENNESAW, Ga. – Coming off its first victory in the ASUN Men's Basketball Championship since 2017, the Kennesaw State Owls look to keep their season alive as they will now take on the top-seeded Jacksonville State Gamecocks in Thursday night's quarterfinal contest in Jacksonville. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. (ET) and will be streamed live on ESPN.
All four quarterfinal games are tipping off at the same time on Thursday night. Following the conclusion of the quarterfinals, the remaining four teams will be reseeded and slotted into the two semifinal contests, set for Saturday, March 5. The championship game will be played on Monday, March 8.

A FEW NOTES
♦ KSU, the fourth seed in the East, reached the quarterfinals after rallying from down 14 to take down the West's fifth seed, Eastern Kentucky, 82-73 in Kennesaw on Tuesday night. The Owls win avenged their earlier lost during the regular season to the Colonels, and now KSU has the chance to avenge another loss with its contest against JSU. The two played a tight battle in Kennesaw on Jan. 23, and the Owls held a late 63-60 lead before the Gamecocks scored 10 of the final 11 points to escape with the win.
♦ Senior
Spencer Rodgers was a huge factor in the win on Tuesday for KSU. The leading returning scorer in the ASUN entering the year, his scoring has gone down as the Owls have been a more balanced attack this season. He came up when needed against EKU though, tying a career-high with six three-pointers on the way to 22 points, one game after hitting five treys at Liberty on Feb. 26.
♦ The Owls have already claimed the most wins (13) and the most ASUN victories in a season (seven) since the 2016-17 season (14-18, 7-7 ASUN).
♦ The returning experience from last season is paying off on the offensive side for KSU, as the Owls' 75.1 ppg average is ahead of the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
