A FEW NOTES
 Â
» This is the fifth meeting between the Blue Hose's and the Owls in program history. It is currently tied at two victories for each team.Â
Â
»
Siena Gore is the driving force behind the Owls' scoring production, as the senior midfielder is currently the nation's leading scorer at 44 total goals. She's also third in the NCAA in points (51), fourth in goals per game (4.40) and eighth in draw controls (8.2 pg)
Â
» Graduate transfer
McKenzie Jackson has accumulated 15 goals (third-highest on the team) and 19 draw controls so far this season. The attacker was a two-time First-Team All-Sunshine State Conference selection for Embry-Riddle. Ranking second on the squad is senior
Chesslyn Lamar who is having a career season, and is currently second on the squad in goals (16) and points (24).
Â
» One advantage for Kennesaw State this season, the Owls return nine of 11 starters from last year's squad, and a total of 20 overall players.Â
Â
» Midfielder Abby Edmisten leads Presbyterian in goals scored with a total of 20 this season. Protecting the net is Heidi Shafer, who has 56 saves and a .415 save percentage this season.Â
Â
» In what is no surprise for the nation's leading scorer,
Siena Gore's nine-goal performance against Butler on March 12 is currently the top mark in the NCAA this season. It also ties her career high and the KSU school record as well.
Â
» Kennesaw State cruised in its game against Wofford, scoring the first six goals on the way to a 22-9 win on March 5. The game marked the largest win margin (13 goals) since a 25-3 win at Howard in 2019, and was a season-high in goals for KSU as well.
Â
»
Siena Gore picked up back-to-back ASUN Player of the Week honors as she has continued to shine on the offensive side. Over the two week period, she notched 19 total goals over a three-game span, and has now earned ASUN weekly honors 12 times total in her career.
Â
» Kennesaw State claimed its first-ever victory over a Power Five school on Feb. 20 when it held off the Oregon Ducks for 14-13 victory. That was also the first-ever victory for KSU against the Pac-12 Conference, after dropping a pair of games to Arizona State.
Â
» The Owls swept the ASUN Player of the Week awards in week two of competition.
Siena Gore brought home Offensive Player of the Week after accumulating five goals, two assists and five draw controls.
Errin Crowe earned the first Defensive Player of the Week of her career with a career high eight saves and save percentage of .533.
Â
» KSU placed two on the preseason All-ASUN team. Both were repeat selections, beginning with to no one's surprise, star senior
Siena Gore as a midfielder. She was joined by senior defender
Payton Gregory.
