A FEW NOTES
♦ There are just two games left in the regular season for KSU, and the Owls still have their sights set on earning a home game in next month's ASUN Tournament. That would mark the first time that KSU has ever hosted a game in the tournament in its 17-year Division I history.
♦ Stetson meanwhile is also bidding to stay at home to begin tournament play, as the Hatters come into the Convocation Center with a 5-9 mark, one game behind both Kennesaw State and North Florida (6-8).
♦ If the Owls sweep Stetson with a victory on Wednesday, and if North Florida falls on the road at Jacksonville, who has not lost a home game this season, that would drastically increase the chance of finishing as a top-four seed for KSU, even allowing for a road loss on Saturday, as the eventual tiebreaker is the NCAA NET rankings. KSU has a 227 ranking currently, while UNF stands at 261.
♦ Isaiah Reddish, who joined KSU this season after a four-year career at Barton College in North Carolina, will be the lone senior honored on Wednesday night.
♦ The Owls have already claimed the most wins in a season (11) since 2016-17 and the most league victories (six) since 2017-18.
♦ The returning experience from last season is paying off on the offensive side for KSU, as the Owls' 74.1 ppg average is just behind the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
