KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball is hoping that five days in the Florida sun are just what's needed to get over its last game, as Kennesaw State takes on FGCU in Fort Myers on Wednesday night. The game tips off at 7:00 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN. The Owls will then go north to face the Jacksonville Dolphins on Saturday night.

A FEW NOTES
♦ KSU is looking for a third straight win over the Eagles, and the first season sweep since the 2010-11 season after an impressive 24-point win in Kennesaw on Jan. 13 to start the ASUN Conference season for the Owls. FGCU has been one of the hotter teams in the league as of late though, bringing a four-game win streak into Alico Arena.
♦ In the first meeting, KSU held the duo of Tavian Dunn-Martin and Kevin Samuel to just 20 total points, more then 10 below their season average.
♦ The Owls have already claimed the most wins in a season (11) since 2016-17 and the most league victories (six) since 2017-18. A win would keep KSU on pace in a very competitive East division to host a first-round contest in next month's ASUN Tournament. Only three games currently separate second place (Jacksonville) and fifth place (Stetson), with FGCU third and KSU a game back in fifth.
♦ The returning experience from last season is paying off on the offensive side for KSU, as the Owls' 74.8 ppg average is just behind the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
