KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State faces its final battle of the non-conference season on Friday night as the Owls will face 18th-ranked Indiana inside of historic Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Ind., at 7 pm on the Big Ten Network.
A FEW NOTES
♦ This will be the third all-time meeting between the two teams, as the Owls dropped the first game in the series in Bloomington on Dec. 22, 2013, while the two teams played again exactly two years later to the date in another IU win.
♦ The Hoosiers are the first top-25 squad the Owls have faced since a loss at No. 9 Creighton on Dec 4, 2020. This also marks the 10th meeting for KSU against a team from the Big Ten conference, with the Owls looking for their first win against the league.
♦ The Owls have already set numerous firsts this season including:
        - Most non-conference road wins (three).
        - First-ever non-conference winning season (currently 8-4).
        - Most wins as a Division I program before January 1 (eight, old record was five).
        - Most wins over DI teams before January 1 (currently at five, old record was four).
♦ Friday marks the Owls' ninth game of the non-conference slate away from their home court. That included a seven-game stretch where KSU went 4-3 overall, including wins at Appalachian State, Mercer and Charleston Southern.
