KENNESAW, Ga. – Coming off the best season in school history, Kennesaw State lacrosse is ready for another successful season on the field as the Owls announced their 2023 full schedule on Wednesday. The Owls will play a 16-game schedule, including nine at home at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, starting with the season opener on Friday, Feb. 10 against Reinhardt.

"I am thrilled to get back on the field competing in 2023," said KSU Head Coach Laura Maness. "We left off 2022 with a program best season and we are looking forward to pushing to even greater heights this season. While many teams on the schedule are familiar to us this will be the first time the team is traveling across the country to play Oregon at Oregon and the first time we will compete against Manhattan at home. In conference, Queens and Lindenwood are new members and we look forward to competing against them for the first time in program history. I believe the schedule is well rounded and competitive and our team will be so fun to watch! We can't wait."

The Owls will play three more games in the month of February, starting with a mid-week game at Winthrop. That will be followed by a home game with Longwood (Feb. 19), and a return trip to Oregon in Eugene on Feb. 26.

March will see the Owls on the road at Radford (Mar. 8), before coming back to Kennesaw for a three-game home stand. Wofford (Mar. 11), Manhattan (Mar. 15) and Furman (Mar. 17) will all make the trip to face the Black and Gold in the Bank. KSU will then close out the non-conference slate on March 19 at Mercer.

KSU will begin the league season on Saturday, April 1 with a home contest against Coastal Carolina. That will be followed by a pair of games the following week, with matches against Jacksonville (April 6) and Stetson (April 8).

The first road ASUN game of the season comes against one of two new league members, Queens, as the Royals will welcome KSU to Charlotte on April 15. The following week will see KSU travel to Liberty (April 20) before closing out the weekend at Delaware State (April 22).

KSU's regular-season finale will come against the second new league member, Lindenwood, who is joining as an affiliate member for women's lacrosse. That game is scheduled for April 29.

For the second straight year, the ASUN Tournament will be held at Jacksonville University. Six teams will qualify for this year's event, with the first round set for May 3. The semifinals will be played on May 4, and the championship game is set for May 6.
