KENNESAW, Ga. – Daniel Tobiloba has signed a national letter of intent to play for Kennesaw State men's basketball for the 2023-24 season, KSU head coach
Amir Abdur-Rahim announced on Wednesday.
"We're excited to add Daniel Tobiloba to our Owl Family," said Abdur-Rahim. "He is a dynamic player with great physical attributes that will provide us with a true post presence on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. Daniel is a humble and confident young man that comes from a great family. We can't wait to get him to Kennesaw and continue to help him grow as a player and most importantly as a person."
Tobiloba, a 7-0, 235-pound center, is originally a native of Lagos, Nigeria. Currently he is playing for Grand View Christian High School in Des Moines, Iowa, where he averaged 8.5 points, 14.7 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per contest this past season. He was named to the Iowa high school state playoffs all-tournament squad after helping the Thunder to the state finals, one season after a semifinal appearance.
NEXT UP: The Owls, fresh off Monday's 99-56 season-opening win over LaGrange, will be back in action on Friday night against the Florida Gators in Gainesville in a 7 p.m. contest. The game will be broadcast on the SEC+ Network.
