KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football travels to Eastern Kentucky for its final game of the 2022 season. The Owls and Colonels meet for the first time in series history with kickoff set for 3:00 p.m.

Top Storylines
- Kennesaw State and Eastern Kentucky meet for the first time on Saturday afternoon in an ASUN Conference battle. The Owls hold a 1-3 record on the road in 2022, while EKU is 4-1 at home.
- Through its first 10 games of 2022, the Kennesaw State defense has forced 25 turnovers. Last week against Austin Peay, the Owls swiped one interception to continue a 17-game stretch in which the team has forced at least one turnover. This marks the second-longest streak in program history (22).
- The Kennesaw State offense has scored a point in 91-straight games and has reached the double-digit mark in each of its last 69 contests. The last time the Owls scored less than 10 points was in November of 2016.
- The Owls enter week 12 in the top-3 in multiple FCS categories. The team currently ranks first in the nation in turnovers gained (26), second in passes intercepted (15) and third in fumbles recovered (11) and fewest penalty yards (306).

- 78 - The Owls have rushed for 150+ yards in 78-straight games versus FCS opponents dating back to week 11 of the 2015 season.

Best Ever
No other start-up program in college football history had more wins in its first five seasons than Kennesaw State with 48 victories.

Minute Men
In their first eight seasons, the Owls have 71 scoring drives of one minute or less, including a program-best 17 in 2019. Thus far in 2022, KSU has produced seven scoring drives of one minute or less.
On The Move
On October 14th, Kennesaw State formally accepted an invitation to join Conference USA, effective July 1, 2024. When the Owls move to C-USA, it will mark the 10th season of Kennesaw State football.
Taking Flight
Kennesaw State posted three consecutive games with 10-or-more passing first downs in 2022, the longest-such streak in program history. Entering 2022, the Owls only had three games in their history with 10-or-more passing first downs.
