KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football hosts Tennessee Tech this Saturday for the program's annual Homecoming game at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The Owls are a perfect 2-0 in the all-time series with the Golden Eagles and have outscored the opponent 76-24. Kickoff is set for 3:00 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on ESPN+.

Top Storylines
- Kennesaw State and Tennessee Tech met during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, with KSU earning the victory in both matchups. In 2017, the Owls scored 27 unanswered points to begin the game en route to an eventual 27-14 win. The 2018 matchup was also favorable for Kennesaw State, as the team earned a convincing 49-10 victory on the road.
- Through its first six games of 2022, the KSU defense has forced 15 turnovers. Last week against Central Arkansas, the Owls swiped two interceptions and recovered one fumble. The team has now forced a turnover in 13-straight games which marks the second-longest streak in program history (22).
- The Kennesaw State offense has scored a point in 87-straight games and has reached the double-digit mark in each of its last 65 contests. The last time the Owls scored less than 10 points was in November of 2016.
- Last Saturday, KSU safety Markeith Montgomery moved into a tie with Taylor Henkle for second place in the Owl record book for career interceptions (7). He trails Dante Blackmon (2015-16) by one for the record.
- The Owls enter week eight in the top-3 in multiple FCS categories. The team currently ranks second in the nation in both fumbles recovered (9) and fewest penalty yards (191) while the team sits third in fewest penalty yards-per-game (31.8).

Owl Town
A free pregame tailgate is back for Owl fans of all ages beginning
2.5 hours before kickoff. Live bands, free food from J.D.'s BBQ, sponsor tents, and more will stretch George Busbee Parkway to add to the gameday atmosphere.
Premium Seat Entrance
There will be a new premium entrance available for all loge, indoor and concourse suite holders. The entrance will be available at the Georgia Natural Gas Gate and is located at the farthest left lane for easy access into the stadium.
Clear Bag Policy
In an effort to provide a safer environment, enhance fan experience and significantly expedite entry into Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw State adheres by a clear bag policy. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted in the stadium. Individuals may also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed and will need to enter through the Georgia Natural Gas gate to be checked.
