KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State heads to Jacksonville, Fla., for a matchup against long-time conference opponent Jacksonville Sunday at 1 p.m. The Owls and Dolphins have matched up 21 times, with KSU holding a 15-5-1 record in the series.

Allanah Blye broke the program record for saves with 16.
After finishing non-conference play unbeaten, Jacksonville has posted a 1-2 record in ASUN competition. JU fell at FGCU 3-0 in its last game.
Allanah Blye Breaks Program Record
Blye finished with a program-best 16 saves in a 2-0 loss to Liberty. The 16 saves broke the previous program record of 13 set by Ashley Zambetti at Georgia back on Sept. 111, 2016. The true freshman has posted a 3-2-1 record at goalkeeper this season. Since earning her first start at Presbyterian, Blye posted back-to-back shutouts against Georgia Southern and Jacksonville State. Blye's back-to-back shutouts for the Owls are the first since
Dylan Pixton had two straight shutouts in the spring of the 2021 ASUN Conference Tournament. The Duncan, S.C. native currently ranks fifth nationally in saves per game (7.50), third in the ASUN in saves (45) and save percentage (.833) and eighth in shutouts with two.
Underclassmen Powering Offense
Underclassmen have scored eight of the 11 goals for KSU this season. Freshman
Stella Allen leads KSU with three goals and is tied for sixth in the ASUN in goals scored. Sophomore
Macie Rainwater has chipped in two goals after scoring seven a season ago. Freshmen
Chiara Singarella,
Mai Jensen and
Aly Bryan each have one goal scored. Singarella leads the Owls with 20 shots taken and 10 shots-on-goal.
A Look at Jacksonville
The Dolphins are unbeaten at home this season, posting a 1-0-1 record at Southern Oak Stadium. The Dolphins finished the non-conference slate 3-0-2 but have lost two straight matches in ASUN play. The JU offense is led by Anaya Black and Selma Fohrer, who have scored three goals and two, respectively. Fohrer leads the conference in shots on goal per game, averaging 1.43 a contest. Jacksonville is ranked in the top three of the ASUN in several offensive categories: Third in assists per game (1.12), third in points per game (4.62), second in scoring offense (1.75) and second in shot accuracy (.495).
Next Match
The Owls stay in Jacksonville to play North Florida Tuesday at 3 p.m. The match was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed due to Hurricane Ian.
