KENNESAW, Ga. – Fresh off a two-week COVID-19 pause and a resounding ASUN opening victory, Kennesaw State men's basketball takes to the road for the first time in league play this season with two straight in the Sunshine State, starting with Saturday afternoon's tilt with the Stetson Hatters. The game, which tips off at 4 pm, will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES
♦ Most recently, Kennesaw State blitzed FGCU by 24 points to start out the ASUN season at 1-0 for the first time since the 2015-16 season. A win at Stetson would mean just the second-ever 2-0 start to conference play for the Owls, and the first since 2005-06.
♦ KSU is looking for its first win at Stetson since the 2016-17 season. The teams split the series a season ago in Kennesaw, with the Stetson winning game one 74-61 and KSU game two 83-75.
♦ The returning experience from last season is paying off on the offensive side, as the Owls' 78.5 ppg average through the first 14 games is its most-ever in the team's Division I history and is ahead of the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
♦ The Owls also rank second in the ASUN in scoring and fourth in field goal percentage. Stetson meanwhile is last in the league with 67.9 ppg, and ninth in field goal percentage.
♦ KSU has played a challenging non-conference schedule through the first 13 games, which currently ranks as the 30th-toughest non-conference schedule in the nation. The Owls' eight losses have come at the hands of Iowa State, Creighton, Belmont, Wake Forest, Mercer, Wofford, Samford and Nebraska. Those eight schools have a combined 76-37 record (through Jan. 13), while ISU has moved into the Top-25 rankings at 15th.
