2022 Non-Conference Schedule Announced

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball revealed the non-conference portion of the 2022 schedule Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Owls open the 2022 campaign in the JoAnne Graf Classic on Friday, Feb. 11 and Saturday, Feb. 12 against Loyola-Chicago, Florida State and Mercer. This marks KSU's return to Tallahassee for the first time since competing in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional in May.
 
Samford comes to Bailey Park for the Owls' home opener for a doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 18 followed by a road doubleheader against the Bulldogs on Sunday, Feb. 20.
 
The I-75 Challenge returns to Kennesaw on Friday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, Feb. 27 against East Tennessee State, Penn State and Georgia State.
 
The Owls play host to Georgia Tech on Wednesday, March 2. KSU went 2-1 against the Yellow Jackets in 2021, including a 4-1 victory in Atlanta in February.
 
From Friday, March 4 through Sunday, March 6, the Owls will be in Fayetteville, Ark. for the Razorback Rumble against Kansas City, Arkansas and Missouri State. The Owls follow that tournament with a road doubleheader against Sam Houston State on Wednesday, March 9.
 
After a week off, the Owls welcome the Auburn Tigers to Bailey Park on Wednesday, March 16 before beginning conference play. The Owls defeated Auburn 1-0 in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional last May.
 
In the middle of the ASUN schedule, KSU heads to Macon for a matchup against Mercer on Wednesday, March 23 and to Atlanta against Georgia Tech on Wednesday, March 30.
 
The non-conference schedule is capped off with a home game against Mercer on Wednesday, April 6 and on the road against Georgia State on Wednesday, April 27.
