KENNESAW, Ga. – The ASUN Conference revealed its 2022 softball conference schedule on Tuesday afternoon, with four series being hosted by Kennesaw State at Bailey Park.
KSU posted a 10-5 conference record in 2021 and made it all the way to the ASUN Championship Game and into the NCAA tournament. The Owls won their first NCAA Division I tournament game in a victory over Auburn in the Tallahassee Regional.
The Owls begin conference play hosting the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Saturday, March 19 and Sunday, March 20.
The next weekend features a road trip against the Central Arkansas Bears on Saturday, March 26 and Sunday, March 27. Lipscomb University will come to town on Saturday, Apr. 2 and Sunday, Apr. 3
The team will hit the road for back-to-back weekend series' starting on Saturday, Apr. 9 and Sunday, Apr. 10 against the Liberty Flames, and then for Easter weekend against the University of North Florida on Friday, Apr. 15 and Saturday, Apr. 16.
Bailey Park will then play host to Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, Apr. 23 and Sunday, Apr. 24. The Owls won both games against the Eagles in 2021.
After that, KSU will end April and open May with Stetson University in Deland, Fla. on Saturday, Apr. 30 and Sunday, May 1.
ASUN Conference play will conclude on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7 as the Owls host Jacksonville University.
The 2022 ASUN Softball Championship will take place on Thursday, May 12 and last through Saturday, May 14.
Times for these games, as well as Owls' 2022 non-conference schedule is still to be determined.
