KENNESAW, Ga. – The No. 20 Kennesaw State football team will host No. 17 Jacksonville State in the last non-conference battle of the regular season Saturday, Oct. 2.

The Last Matchup
- The last matchup between Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State was voted the 2018 FCS Game of the Year. The shootout at SunTrust Park (now Truist), lasted five overtime periods and ended with an interception in the end zone.
- Kennesaw State scored eight touchdowns, while Jacksonville State had seven. The two teams combined for nine rushing scores and six passing touchdowns, while 10 different players scored.
- At over four hours of time played, this contest was the longest game in both Kennesaw State and Jacksonville State history.
- Kennesaw State's 60 points and Jacksonville State's 52 points each mark the most either program has given up in a single game in school history.

- Head coach Brian Bohannon looks to move into second place all-time in Big South career victories. Bohannon is currently tied for second with 54 wins and trails only Coastal Carolina's David Bennett at 63.
- KSU has won 14 consecutive regular season non-conference FCS games, which is the second longest streak in Big South history (Coastal Carolina, 18).
- A Kennesaw State win would be the ninth consecutive win over a team from Alabama, the 13th consecutive win in the month of October and the sixth consecutive victory inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium for the Owls.
- The Owls' offense looks to remain dominant on the ground. Since week 11 of the 2015 season, Kennesaw State has compiled 150+ rush yards in 62 consecutive games.

No other start-up program in college football history has more wins in its first five seasons than Kennesaw State with 48 victories.

Minute Men
In their first seven seasons, the Owls have 56 scoring drives of one minute or less, including a program-best 17 in 2019. KSU tallied its first of the 2021 fall season at Wofford with a two play, 59-yard drive which lasted 43 seconds.
Peach State Pride
Since KSU's inception, the Owls hold the second-highest winning percentage among NCAA Division I football teams in the state of Georgia (2015-pres.). In that seven-year span, Kennesaw State is the only Division I program in the state to capture two conference championships.
Ranking Streak Record
Following the preseason polls by Stats FCS and the AFCA, KSU broke a record with 46 consecutive weeks in a top-25 poll. The streak broke a previous Big South Conference record of 45 weeks held by Coastal Carolina. The Owls have been ranked in one of the two polls for 50 consecutive weeks.

Clear Bag Policy
In an effort to provide a safer environment, enhance fan experience and significantly expedite entry into Fifth Third Bank Stadium, Kennesaw State adheres by a clear bag policy. Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" or one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar) are permitted in the stadium. Individuals may also carry a small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap. All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry into the venue. All bags and purses not meeting the above requirements will not be permitted. Although permitted, childcare items, including diapers, must also be carried in an approved clear bag. Bags needed for medical reasons will be allowed and will need to enter through the Georgia Natural Gas gate to be checked.
