KENNESAW, Ga. –Kennesaw State football reached a milestone on Monday afternoon after placing 20th in the STATS Perform poll, marking it's 50th straight week in the top 25.
The ranking extends Kennesaw State's Big South Conference record of 50 consecutive weeks in the top 25. The streak dates back to Oct. 30 of the 2017 season, giving Kennesaw State 1,428 straight days in the national rankings. Since its inception as a program in 2015, 92 national polls have been released, with the Owls appearing in over 59 percent of the rankings.
KSU also placed 20th in the AFCA Coaches poll after being ranked 24th the week prior.
The Owls meet Jacksonville State this Saturday, Oct.2 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+ and heard on the KSU Owls app. Fans can purchase tickets to the game here.
