KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State, in conjunction with the Big South Conference, has completed KSU's fall 2021 football schedule with eight conference games.
The Owls will play host to North Carolina A&T, Gardner-Webb, and Monmouth, while traveling to Hampton, Campbell, Robert Morris, and North Alabama.
In total, KSU plays five home games at Fifth Third Bank Stadium after the March announcement of the most challenging non-conference schedule in KSU history with games against Georgia Tech, Wofford, and Jacksonville State. Following the non-conference slate, KSU heads to Hampton for an Oct. 9 contest against the Pirates. In 2019, six different players for the Owls scored touchdowns, while the KSU defense forced a season-high five turnovers in a 50-7 rout of Hampton.
KSU returns home Oct. 16 for its first matchup against North Carolina A&T State. The Aggies are set for their inaugural season in the conference after carrying the banner in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. The Aggies also won four out of the five MEAC titles and Celebration Bowls, including the last three.
On Oct. 23, KSU is set to return to return to the site of a barn burner in Buies Creek, N.C. The 2019 thriller at Campbell saw KSU overcome a 21-10 deficit in the second quarter for a 38-35 victory. The 2021 game will be just the second trip in program history to Barker-Lane Stadium.
The Owls entertain Gardner-Webb Halloween weekend with an Oct. 30 home game against the Runnin' Bulldogs. The teams did not play during the spring season due to COVID-19 issues within the GWU program, but in 2019 KSU became the first Big South Conference program to put together three-straight 10-win seasons after the Owls soared past Gardner-Webb, 42-14.
As the calendar turns to November, two road games at new locations greet the Black and Gold.
KSU makes its first trip to Big South newcomer Robert Morris with a Nov. 6 game against the Colonials. In a 35-0 shutout of RMU on April 3, the Owls recorded their seventh shutout in program history, including the fifth against a Big South opponent.
The final road game of the regular season is a brief journey to the campus of North Alabama. In the 2019 meeting, KSU amassed 490 rushing yards en route to a 41-17 win.
The regular season comes to a close at Fifth Third Bank Stadium with a Nov. 20 game against Monmouth. The Hawks captured the 2019 and 2021 spring season Big South titles. KSU will look to snap a two-game skid in the series in their seventh all-time meeting.
Season tickets are available for just $135, which includes a donation to the Owls Fund. Click here for ticket options.
