The Kennesaw State women's tennis team will travel to Fort Myers, Fla to take on FGCU in the Quarterfinals of the ASUN Women's Tennis Championship.

Scouting FGCU
FGCU earned the number two seed in the southern division behind the number one seed North Florida. The Eagles finished the regular season with a 6-6 record overall and were 4-2 in conference play. Fanny Norin of the FGCU women's tennis team is 8-2 in single this season playing primarily on courts two and four.

The Series
Sunday's match marks the eighth meeting between the two programs. The Eagles lead the series 7-0. KSU fell to FGCU twice this season, last time being on April 4, 2021 in Jacksonville, Fla. The Owls are looking to clinch their first win over the Eagles in program history.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team clinched its first ASUN Conference match of the season with a 4-3 win over Stetson on Sunday, April 11.
KSU clinched the doubles point and three singles matches to secure the victory.
In doubles,
Taylor Dean and teammate
Paola Cortez got the Owls going defeating Danel Ashirova and Elodie Foster 6-2 on court one. Julianna Castellanos and
Sofia Pinedo defeated Noa Cohen and Anais Gabriel to clinch the doubles point.
In singles, the Hatters took a 2-1 lead after securing two wins on courts five and four.
Soomin Kim's straight set 6-4, 6-1 victory over Foster on court six would tie the match up 2-2. Stetson extended their lead after Katie Kubicz defeated
Ji Youn Lee in three sets 4-6, 6-1, 2-6 on court two.
The Owls tied it up 3-3 on court one after
Taylor Dean fell in her second set but was able to come back and secure the point in a third set tie breaker 6-4, 6-7(1-7), 7-5. Cortez clinched the match on court three after falling in her first set 6-7(6-8), 6-3, 6-2.
