Game 1 | Kennesaw State 3, Bellarmine 0
After two scoreless frames, a sacrifice fly from Christen Florence would bring home Faith Alexander to give the Owls a 1-0 lead.

In the top of the fourth inning, junior Taylor Cates would reach and score off three Knights errors. Alexander added insurance off an RBI single to second base that would plate Katie Greep and extend the KSU lead 3-0.

Reigning ASUN Pitcher of the Week Melanie Bennett (14-9), pitched an absolute gem, allowing no runs on three hits while recording a new career-high 14 strikeouts. 14 out of 21 outs were strikeouts from Bennett.

Natalie Magnus (1-6) suffered the loss after 7.0 innings of work, giving up three runs on five hits while striking out three.

After nothing doing for either side through the first two frames, the Owls took a 2-0 lead after a two-run double to center field from Taylor Cates.

The Knights responded with an RBI single to left center field from Hattie Hartman to cut into the Owls lead.

Faith Alexander's RBI double down the right field line that brought home Hope Jiles would seal the deal in an 8-1 decision over Bellarmine on Saturday.
