OPENING DRAW
» The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team returns to the Nest Friday afternoon looking to extend its winning streak hosting Wofford at 2 p.m. The Owls are coming off their second straight win, downing Gardner-Webb 14-12 Tuesday behind a stellar seven goal, 13 draw control performance from Siena Gore. KSU is 2-0 all-time against the Terriers defeating Wofford 19-8 the last time the two teams squared off in 2019.

» Siena Gore won her second ASUN Player of the Week award after a dominant display at GWU in which she netted seven goals, five in the second half alone, and a career-high 13 draw controls. Gore is one of the top all-around players in the country at the moment, ranked third in the NCAA for goals per game averaging 5.00. She has netted at least three goals in every game, four or more in the last four games, including a career-high eight goals against Winthrop to tie the KSU single-game record. Gore has recorded 19 free position goals on the year to lead the NCAA for total goals and free position goals per game (3.17). She also ranks 11th in the country for points per game (5.67) and 21st for draw controls per game (6.5). This year Gore became the first Owl in program history to record over 200 career points while breaking the all-time ASUN record for career goals with 196.

» On the defensive side, the Owls have five players ranked in the league's top-15 for caused turnovers with Marissa Gore ranked fourth and Siena Gore ranked sixth as two of seven players with double-digit caused turnovers. Carson Pearson is currently in 10th with seven caused turnovers while Roslyn Talbert and Rachel Price are tied for 14th with six apiece. As a team, KSU ranks 14th in the NCAA averaging 10.67 caused turnovers per game, one of 21 teams in the country averaging 10 or more caused turnovers. The Owls have logged 10 or more caused turnovers in all but one game. If maintained, KSU's current average would set a new single-season record and mark just the second time in program history the Owls have averaged over nine caused turnovers in a year.

» Marissa Gore has provided a one-two punch for KSU ranked second in the conference behind her sister Siena with 19 goals, one of eight players with at least 10 goals, while ranked in the top-10 for points (2nd), assists (4th), draw controls (4th), ground balls (6th) and caused turnovers (4th). She and her sister Siena are the driving force behind KSU's attack which ranks second in the ASUN averaging 12.5 goals per game.

» Freshman goalkeeper Julia Weiss has been a huge presence in the cage for KSU, leading the ASUN averaging 8.33 saves per game. She has racked up 50 total saves on the year, including a career-high 12 in KSU's win over Winthrop. Weiss' 37.9 save percentage ranks second in the ASUN while her 14 ground balls is tied for sixth.

SISTER SISTER
Senior twins Siena and Marissa Gore have either broken or are ranked in the top-10 for nearly every category in the KSU career record book.

Siena Gore has broken the single-season record for points, goals and draw controls twice, becoming the only Owl in history to record over 150 goals and 250 draw controls. She just recently set the KSU all-time career record for points and is one of four players in ASUN history to earn at least 200 career points ranked second all-time with 219.

She had a record game at Winthrop in which she tied the KSU single-game record for goals (8) and points (10). Siena leads the ASUN with 34 points with her and sister Marissa being two of four players in the conference to tally over 20 points on the year. She ranks in the league's top-10 for draw controls (1st), assists (8th), caused turnovers (6th) and shooting percentage (2nd).

Siena Gore ranks third in the NCAA averaging 5.00 goals per game and 11th for points per game averaging 5.67.

Marissa Gore has been another all-around powerhouse for KSU, ranking fifth all-time for career assists (35), third for draw controls (153) and fourth for caused turnovers (47). She recently became just the eighth player in KSU history to record 100 career points after scoring a career-high six goals against Stetson. Marissa ranks seventh for career points (106) and ninth for career goals (71).

In the ASUN, Marissa is currently ranked among the top-10 for goals (2nd), points (2nd), assists (4th), draw controls (4th), caused turnovers (4th) and ground balls (6th).

Both Marissa and Siena have earned ASUN Player of the Week honors this year, with Siena earning her second of the season this past Wednesday.

LOCK DOWN D
From the cage to the restraining line, the Owl defense has shined this season. KSU averages 10.67 caused turnovers per game to rank 14th in the NCAA. Five Owls, Marissa Gore, Siena Gore, Carson Pearson, Roslyn Talbert and Rachel Price, all rank among the league's top-15 for total caused turnovers with Marissa Gore ranked 19th in the country averaging 2.00 caused turnovers per game.

If maintained, KSU's 10.67 caused turnovers per game average would set a new single-season record marking just the second time in program history KSU has averaged over nine caused turnovers per game.

In the net, freshman Julia Weiss has been a huge asset for KSU totaling 50 saves on the year after recording a career-high 12 at Winthrop to earn her first career win. Weiss currently leads the ASUN averaging 8.33 saves per game, having logged 10 or more saves in two games.

She shined in her debut, earning the starting nod in KSU's season-opener to record eight saves to help the Owls maintain a 4-3 lead at halftime against Coastal Carolina. She also logged eight saves against No. 6 Florida. Weiss ranks sixth in the conference with 14 ground balls on the year.

Fellow freshman Errin Crowe has logged over 50 minutes in the net this year recording seven total saves, including a crucial pair in the final minutes of KSU's last match at Gardner-Webb to seal the victory.

FREE NINETY NINE
The Owls have made the most of their free position attempts so far this season, converting 30 of their 57 shots. KSU's 52.6 percent shooting percentage from the arc ranks 16th in the NCAA with its 30 total goals tied for 4th.

KSU's stellar production is due in large part to Siena Gore who has scored 19 goals on 26 free position attempts. She, along with sister Marissa, are the only two players in the ASUN to record more than five goals from the eight-meter arc, leading the country in both total goals and goals per game (3.17).

Siena Gore has converted her last nine straight free position attempts.

Marissa Gore has netted seven free position goals on the year with Mia Mackenzie, Julia Dell'Angelo, Natalie Welch and Camryn Klaus all recording one apiece.

On the flipside, KSU has held opponents to 41 percent from eight meters out, holding teams to 12 goals on 29 free position attempts.
