The Kennesaw State women's tennis team travels to Deland, Fla., to begin ASUN Conference play against Stetson on Friday, March 19 in Deland, Fla., and FGCU on Saturday, March 20 in Jacksonville, Fla.

Scouting Stetson
The Hatters are 5-4 overall, set to face the Owls on a three-match winning streak. Elodie Foster is 4-1 on the season in singles matches playing primarily on court five and six. Katie Kubicz and teammate Brooke Milner lead Stetson in doubles with a 5-3 record on court two.

Scouting FGCU
The Eagles are 2-3 overall securing wins over Liberty and Toledo. FGCU has secured the doubles point three times over five games. Maja Ornberg leads the Eagles with three wins and two losses playing on court one.

The Series
Friday's matchup will mark the 15
th meeting between KSU and Stetson. The Hatters lead the series 14-0, Stetson defeated the Owls 7-0 in April 2019 on the Betty Siegel Courts in Kennesaw, Ga. Saturday's match between the Owls and Eagles marks the sixth meeting between the two programs. FGCU leads the series 5-0. KSU fell to the Eagles 4-0 in Fort Myers, Fla., on April 13, 2019.
The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team defeated Mercer 5-2 on the Betty Siegel Courts on Sunday afternoon.
The Owls clinched the doubles point and four singles points to grab the win.

Ji Youn Lee and Valentine Taddia got the Owls going with a 6-1 win over Lauren Rich and Alara Hollyfield on court two.Â

Soomin Kim followed with a 7-5 victory over Kristin Yordanova and Lekah Varudandi on court one.Â
Taylor Dean and teammateÂ
Paola Cortez were tied 6-6 on court one when the point was clinched.
In singles, KSU extended their lead 3-0 on courts five and one with a pair of straight set victories over Mercer. The Bear picked up wins on courts three and four cut the Owls lead 3-2. Lee defeated Hollyfield in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 on court two to secure the win for the Owls. Kim closed the door on Yordanova in straight sets 6-1, 7-5 on court six.
