Match Preview
The Kennesaw State women's tennis team heads to Murfreesboro on Friday to face Middle Tennessee and returns home on Sunday to host Jacksonville State. The Owls have already played two Power Five schools, #6 Georgia Tech and Alabama.

Match Attendance
Due to COVID-19 protocols, attendance will be capped at 60 fans for this season.
 
Mask Up!
Fans are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth during the duration of their time at the Betty Siegel Courts.

Scouting Middle Tennessee
The Blue Raiders are 0-3 this season. MT lost its three matches to #15 Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and ETSU.
 
Scouting Jacksonville State
The Gamecocks are 2-1 this season. Harriet Hamilton leads JSU with an 3-0 record in singles play.
 
The Series
Friday's match will be the second meeting between the two programs. Middle Tennessee leads the series 1-0. The teams have not met since 2016. JSU and KSU will meet for the 10th time on Sunday. The Owls lead the series 6-3. KSU won 4-3 at JSU on Mar. 11, 2019.
  
The Last Time Out
Alabama (4-0) clinched the doubles point and six singles matches to win the match. All three of the Owls doubles teams gave strong efforts on Saturday (Jan.30). Taylor Dean and Valentina Taddia, playing in the No. 1 spot, started with a 3-2 lead before falling to Sydney Riley and Anne Marie Hiser 6-4. Paola Cortez and Ji Youn Lee battled it out until the very end, losing 7-5 on court No. 3
 
In singles, Dean started with a 3-0 lead in the first set before falling 6-3, 6-2 to Moka Ito on court one. Lee battled with Anne Marie Hiser losing 6-3, 6-3 on court four .

Next Up
The Owls host Mercer on Saturday (Feb. 13) at 12 p.m. EST.
