AUBURN, Ala. – Kennesaw State fought hard, but suffered a 5-0 loss to Auburn University Friday night at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
The Owls (1-1) were able to get seven shots off, with sophomore Becky Contreras totaling four, senior Erin Harris with two, and sophomore Camryn Simmons finishing the night with one shot.
Dylan Pixton had two saves on the night against the Tigers (5-4-2), who managed to get 18 shots off with seven on goal.
The Tigers were capable of scoring in both periods, with a big effort from Anna Haddock who ended the night with three assists that put Auburn in a comfortable position.
The Owls remain on the road to battle Mercer University Sunday, Feb. 21, at 4 p.m.
