KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State is on the road looking for a bounce back as it faces its second straight SoCon opponent in Sunday's 2 pm contest at Wofford. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.

A FEW NOTES
♦  The Owls are coming off a tough 73-71 loss to Mercer this past Wednesday, a game in which KSU trailed by eight late but had a chance to tie the ball in the final seconds. KSU's reverse layup attempt was off the mark though, allowing Mercer to escape with the win.
♦  KSU has played a challenging non-conference schedule through the first eight games. The Owls' five losses have come at the hands of Iowa State, Creighton, Belmont, Wake Forest and Mercer. Those five schools have a combined 32-9 record (through Dec. 3), while ISU has moved into the Top-25 this week at No. 19.
♦  The Owls are 0-3 all-time against Wofford, though the teams have only played once in KSU's time as a Division I program, an 83-70 contest won by the Terriers in Kennesaw, Ga., on Dec. 22, 2019.
♦ Kennesaw State is looking for a turnaround year this season, after bringing back over 90% over its scoring production and total minutes from last season. The Owls rank 16th in the nation in both categories, bringing back 93.7% of its total points and 91.8% of its total minutes.
♦ KSU's experience is paying off on the offensive side, as the Owls' 77.6 ppg average through the first eight games is its most-ever in the team's Division I history. If you take out the Owls' two wins over non-DI competition, KSU is still averaging 69.3 ppg, its most in its first six games of the year since the 2016-17 squad averaged 75.0 points on the way to an eventual 14-18 record.
