A FEW NOTES
♦  The Owls are looking to snap a two-game losing streak, both of which came on the road. KSU is 4-2 in the Convocation Center this season, and this marks the first of two straight for the Owls on their home court, as they will also host Jacksonville in the ASUN opener for both teams on Jan. 5.
♦ Toccoa Falls has played one other Division I school this season, dropping a 92-44 contest at Georgia State on Dec. 18.
♦ KSU has played a challenging non-conference schedule through the first 12 games, which currently ranks as the 35th-toughest schedule in the nation. The Owls' eight losses have come at the hands of Iowa State, Creighton, Belmont, Wake Forest, Mercer, Wofford, Samford and Nebraska. Those eight schools have a combined 73-26 record (through Dec. 28), while ISU has moved into the Top-10 rankings at eighth.
♦ Kennesaw State is looking for a turnaround year this season, after bringing back over 90% over its scoring production and total minutes from last season. The Owls rank 16th in the nation in both categories, bringing back 93.7% of its total points and 91.8% of its total minutes.
♦ KSU's experience is paying off on the offensive side, as the Owls' 76.2 ppg average through the first 12 games is its most-ever in the team's Division I history and is ahead of the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
