KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball closes out its pre-Christmas slate with its first-ever meeting against Nebraska, as the teams face off in Lincoln on Wednesday night. The game tips off at 7:30 pm (ET) on ESPNU, while Mark Neely and Robbie Hummel as play-by-play and color analyst.

A FEW NOTES
-While it's the first-ever trip for KSU to Lincoln, the Owls are very familiar with the Cornhusker state, with three straight years of non-conference games at Creighton in Omaha. That includes the contest earlier this season, in which the Owls held a halftime lead on the Bluejays before eventually falling 51-44 on Nov. 11.
-The Owls are 0-8 all-time against teams from the Big Ten.
-KSU has played a challenging non-conference schedule through the first 11 games, which currently ranks as the 38th-toughest schedule in the nation. The Owls' seven losses have come at the hands of Iowa State, Creighton, Belmont, Wake Forest, Mercer, Wofford and Samford. Those seven schools have a combined 65-18 record (through Dec. 20), while ISU has moved into the Top-10 rankings at ninth.
-Kennesaw State is looking for a turnaround year this season, after bringing back over 90% over its scoring production and total minutes from last season. The Owls rank 16th in the nation in both categories, bringing back 93.7% of its total points and 91.8% of its total minutes.
-KSU's experience is paying off on the offensive side, as the Owls' 76.4 ppg average through the first 11 games is its most-ever in the team's Division I history and is ahead of the current school record of 75.0 ppg, set in the 2016-17 season.
