A FEW NOTES
-KSU is out to even its record at 2-2 after starting the season out with a pair of road losses, but both games were very competitive for the Owls, coming on the road at a pair of Power Conference opponents. The Owls dropped their season opener 84-73 at Iowa State in a game closer than the final margin, while they nearly pulled off a road upset at Creighton on Nov. 11. In that contest, the Owls lead by two at halftime and nearly tied the game with a minute to go but their three-point try rimmed out of the basket and the Bluejays held on for a five-point win.
Â
-Kennesaw State is looking for a turnaround year this season, after bringing back over 90% over its scoring production and total minutes from last season. The Owls rank 16th in the nation in both categories, bringing back 93.7% of its total points and 91.8% of its total minutes.
