The Kennesaw State women's soccer team makes the trip out to the Music City for a Sunday showdown against the Lipscomb Bisons at 2 p.m. in the Lipscomb Soccer Complex.

The Owls are coming off one of their most exhilarating games ever, defeating Central Arkansas 4-3 in a game that needed overtime to separate the two sides.

The matchup marked the first time that Kennesaw State has scored four goals in a game since Aug. 25, 2019 against Georgia State.

Excellent Ebony
Deployed in a striker role against the Bears, Ebony Clarke played the role of superhero for Benji Walton's side once again.

The Canadian international equalized the game for Kennesaw State, touching a cross in from Jenna Vollrath into the high netting of the UCA goal.

Clarke wasn't done there however, getting on the end of a Kathryn Schreck cross in overtime for the golden goal.

The game-winner put the sophomore on four goals this season, giving her the team lead. Her four goals have come from a pair of two-goal games.

When it Rains, She Scores
Freshman forward Macie Rainwater found herself back on the scoresheet once again, placing a perfect finish into the inside of the Bears' right post to make it 2-1 .

Midfielder Agata Giani found herself in possession on the right flank, playing a beautiful ball over the top of the UCA defense.

Rainwater got on the end of it, and skipped a slow shot past the UCA keeper.

The Kennesaw, Ga. native now sits on three goals this season and is the only freshman to score for Walton in this campaign.

Next Match
The Owls make a trip down to Fort Myers, Fla. to take on FGCU on Thursday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
