KENNESAW, Ga. – Entering his third season as the Kennesaw State softball head coach,
Tripp MacKay announced the full 2021 schedule Friday.
The 2021 season contains a 47-game slate, including 15Â home games and 22 ASUN conference games.
KSU opens the season hosting Virginia Tech on Feb. 13 at Bailey Park; the Owls play the Hokies three times over the weekend.
The Owls then hit the road for the Chattanooga Tournament (Feb. 19-21) against Western Kentucky, Indiana State, East Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech and UT Chattanooga.
The Auburn Tournament is scheduled for March 19-21 in Auburn, Ala. The field will be announced at a later time.
The Owls will test their Peach State skills against in-state rivals Georgia Tech, Georgia and Georgia State. KSU will hit the road to take on UGA (Feb. 26) and Georgia Tech (Feb. 27). The Owls will host Georgia State on March 3 and April 21 as well as the Bulldogs on March 17.

KSU is scheduled to host the ASUN Conference Championship at Bailey Park May 14-16.
The NCAA Regionals are slated for May 20-23 and the NCAA Championship is scheduled for May 28-30.
The Kennesaw State softball team wrapped up its 2020 season with a 21-4 record before the remainder of the season was canceled. The Owls return 17 players and welcome four newcomers.
