KENNESAW, Ga.- For the third-straight week Kennesaw State climbs up national polls, as the Owls rank No. 4 in the Coaches' Poll and No. 6 in the STATS FCS Poll, the organizations announced today.
 
With the rankings, the Owls have found themselves in the Top-25 for 24 consecutive weeks, including 20-straight weeks of boasting a Top-10 ranking.
 
After a slow start, KSU rolled to a 35-24 win over Missouri State on Saturday (Sept. 21) for its first win over a Missouri Valley Football Conference foe.

Bronson Rechsteiner set the program record for rushing yards in a game against Missouri State, rushing for 221 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. His 22.1 yards per carry set the Big South single-game record with 149 of his yards coming on back-to- back carries.

Kennesaw State is the only FCS program in the country to play more than one game and rank in the top five in total offense and total defense. The Owls rank No. 4 in the country in offense, gaining 518.8 yards per game, while ranking No. 5 on defense, surrendering just 263.3 yards per contest.

Following three straight road games, Kennesaw State returns home Saturday (Sept. 28) evening looking for its third consecutive victory and fourth of the season. The matchup with Reinhardt University marks the first meeting between the two schools separated by just 24.4 miles on interstate I-575.
