Armstrong, Walker, Foster Earn Preseason All-America Honors

KENNESAW, Ga. – The preseason accolades continue to roll in as Bryson Armstrong, Dorian Walker and Isaac Foster each earned spots on Phil Steele's 2019 Preseason All-America lists.
 
Armstrong joins Phil Steele's Preseason All-America Fourth Team after being named to the STATS FCS All-America list as well as being tabbed the Big South Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
 
The Marietta, Ga., native finished the 2018 season with 75 total tackles, which included 56 solo stops, with each figure ranking second on a historic Kennesaw State defense. Going into the 2019 season, Armstrong touts 13.5 career sacks, which is the program best.
 
Walker earns a spot on the fourth team list after being tabbed as a Big South Preseason First-Team Defense member as well as a STATS FCS All-American. He recorded 38 tackles and three interceptions last season as he etched his name on the 2018 Big South First-Team Defense list.
 
The Tallulah, La., native begins his senior campaign with five career interceptions, which ranks tied for third in program history.
 
The 2018 Big South Special Teams Player of the Year, Foster enters his sophomore year on the Phil Steele's Preseason All-America Fourth Team. Last season, Foster was the only player in the nation at the FCS or FBS level with two 100-yard kickoff returns for a touchdown.
