KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football fans will have more reason to be excited at kickoff this season, because KSU is eager to announce the addition of a free tailgate, live music, and a tasty variety of food trucks for each home game at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Beginning with the season opener Saturday, Aug. 31 against Point University, fans can get ready for gameday with Owl Town, a free tailgate to the public that begins three hours prior to kickoff. Located at the Owls Nest, which is off Busbee Dr. and across from the Gold Lot, Owl Town provides a fun and festive atmosphere for all ages.
Every edition of Owl Town features live music, a variety of vendors, and there will be inflatable fun for children. Be sure to arrive early because thanks to J.D.'s Bar-B-Que, Owl Town has free food to the first 200 fans! Alcohol, soft drinks, and water will be available for sale.
In addition to live music at Owl Town, don't forget that country music star and Marietta native Zach Seabaugh will perform a live concert at Fifth Third Bank Stadium following the Oct. 26 football game against North Alabama. Admission to the concert is included with the price of a football ticket.
FOOD TRUCKS ARE BACK!
Owl Town closes 30 minutes prior to kickoff, but once fans are inside Fifth Third Bank Stadium, KSU is excited to unveil the addition of food trucks. Appearing on a rotating basis, fans can enjoy local and unique flavors to their gameday experience.
The Aug. 31 game against Point will feature Yom and Jalapeno Corndogs food trucks. Yom is "a healthy fast casual eatery that uses real whole foods, crafted to be real yummy!", while Jalapeno Corndogs offers gameday favorites with a twist. More food truck announcements will be made soon.
