KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State's starting goalkeeper
Tiffany Sornpao is about to embark on the summer of a lifetime as she was selected to the final 23-woman roster that will represent Thailand at the FIFA Women's World Cup in France beginning Friday, June 7.

Benji Walton. "Since her freshman year we have seen her grow and develop as much as any player I've had the privilege to work with. She has put in the hours and earned this opportunity. I'm sure I can speak on behalf of all of her teammates and coaches about how excited we are for her. This truly is a dream come true for her and we are behind Tiffany all the way."
Thailand joins Chile, Sweden, and the USA in Group F of the 2019 World Cup, opening group play against none other than the defending World Cup Champions, USA on Tuesday, June 11 at 3 p.m. ET.
Following its opener, Thailand will square off with Sweden Sunday (June 16) at 9 a.m. ET, followed by Chile on Thursday (June 20) at 3 p.m. ET. For the full schedule and results for both Thailand and Group F click

This will be the second time this year Sornpao joins the Thailand women's national team after being called in to join the Chaba Kaew for the Cyprus Cup in February. The redshirt sophomore made her debut during the tournament in Thailand's final group stage match against Italy.
Sornpao is coming off a stellar year between the pipes for KSU, ranked among the ASUN's top-3 for total saves (T-2nd), save percentage (3rd), wins (3rd), goals against average (3rd) and shutouts (T-1st).
Originally from Berkeley Lake, Ga., Sornpao broke the KSU Division I single-season record for saves this past year with 94 total stops. Her nine shutouts are tied for fourth on the single-season record list while ranked 29th in the NCAA.
