Opening Draw
» The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team closes out the 2019 regular season at Howard Sunday, looking to cap off the year on a high note and secure the final spot in the ASUN Conference Tournament. Stetson is still technically in the hunt for postseason play, needing a win over Jacksonville and a KSU loss to Howard.
» The Owls put themselves in prime position after defeating Stetson 15-6 in their last outing, a season-low for goals allowed. With her team-high five goals against the Hatters,
Abby Squires has now moved into a tie for fourth in the ASUN with 38 goals on the year, netting four or more goals in five games.
» As a team, KSU ranks third in the conference averaging 13.38 goals per game, one of three teams in the league with over 200 goals scored this year. With 214 goals scored so far this season, the Owls broke the 200 goals mark for only the third time in program history. KSU needs just 15 more goals to move into second on the KSU single-season record list and another 33 to tie the current record of 247 set in 2017.
»
Siena Gore is the driving force behind the Owls' scoring production, leading the ASUN with 62 goals, over 10 more goals than the next closest player. She ranks sixth in the NCAA for total goals and seventh for goals per game (3.88). Gore has netted at least three goals in all but four games this season. She needs just four more goals to set the KSU career record currently held by
Sydney Farwick (2014-17).
» KSU is the most accurate team in the NCAA from eight-meters out, leading the country with a 54.7 free position shooting percentage. The Owls are one of seven teams in the country to shoot over 50 percent from the arc. KSU's 64 free position goals this year is currently tied for fourth in that nation while ranked second on the single-season record list.
» Siena and
Marissa Gore rank one and two in the ASUN for draw controls with 87 and 84 draw controls, respectively, the only two players in the league with more than 70 draw controls. As a team, the Owls are second in the conference and 16th in the NCAA averaging 15.44 draw controls per game.

After tying her season-high for the third time with five ground balls against Jacksonville,
Siena Gore leads the team with 34, good enough for ninth in the conference. Palandro and Bunn are close behind with 28 each to rank tied for 12th in the conference. Bunn set a career-high at Coastal Carolina with five ground balls.
Palandro has recorded three or more ground balls in four games this year, logging at least one in all but one game. After her two ground balls against Detroit, the York, Pa., native became the third Owl in history to record 100 career ground balls.Â

Marissa Gore rank first and second in the league with 87 and 84 draw controls, respectively. After recording no draw controls in KSU's season-opener, Marissa has logged at least five in all but three games since, snapping her nine-game streak at Furman.
Following her six draw controls against Jacksonville,
Siena Gore became the second Owl in program history to record over 200 career draw controls with 206 and counting. She needs just seven more to tie the program record of 213 set by
Sydney Farwick (2014-17). Marissa has jumped into fourth on the career list with 97.Â
Currently ranked 11th in the league with 42 draw controls,
Abby Squires has begun her climb towards the top of the career record list. Squires entered the year in eighth with 53 career draw controls and has since moved up to fifth place during the opening portion of the season with 95 total draw controls. Bunn-believable
Senior
Alex Bunn returned to the net in spectacular fashion, breaking the KSU single-game record with 17 saves in the Owls' season-opener. Since then she has yet to slow down recording double-digit saves in eight games this season while setting the KSU single-season and career records.
Her 151 saves on the year ranks second in the league with her current 9.44 saves per game average ranked 28th in the nation. If maintained, it would mark the first time in KSU history a keeper averaged more than nine saves per game in a single-season.
With eight saves at Wofford, Bunn took sole possession of the KSU single-season record, surpassing the previous mark of 111 set last year. After recording 13 saves against New Hampshire, Bunn became the first Owl in KSU history to record over 200 career saves with 291 saves and counting over her three seasons.
