KENNESAW, Ga. – Three home runs from Kennesaw State was not enough as the Owls fell 12-6 to split with Binghamton in the midweek set.
Daniel Seres belted two home runs in the contest, which was the second time this season the junior accomplished this feat.
The Bearcats scored five runs in the first three innings that proved too much for Kennesaw State on Wednesday afternoon. Seres launched his first home run into orbit over the left-field fence to pull the Owls within three runs at 5-2.
Garrett Hodges hit his fifth home run of the season in the fourth inning to cut the lead to two runs. After the Bearcats pushed the lead to 8-3 in the sixth inning,

Binghamton scored four more runs over the next two innings and claimed a 12-4 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth inning. In the eighth,
Jaylen Smith plated
Tyler Simon with an RBI single.
Seres hit his second home run of the evening in the ninth inning to give the Owls their sixth run.
