The Owls finished the 2019 regular season with a 10-2 record as they look to make the program's third consecutive run to the quarterfinals of the FCS Playoffs. During KSU's last 38 games, it has a remarkable 33-5 record, including winning 26 of its last 27 regular season games against FCS opponents.

Kennesaw State ended the regular season with the No. 1 rushing attack in the country, averaging 350.0 yards per game on the ground, including 53 rushing touchdowns to lead the nation.

KSU's streak of dominance has seen the Owls ranked in the Top 25 for 32 consecutive weeks, a stretch that dates back to week nine of the 2017 season. Of those 32 straight weeks in the national polls, 26 have been in the Top 10.

The Owls are 3-2 all-time in the FCS Playoffs and battle Wofford in the playoffs for the second straight season after knocking off the Terriers in the second round in 2018 to advance to the Quarterfinals.
