KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State University soccer Head Coach Benji Walton is excited to announce a strong signing class, set to join the team in 2020.
"We are extremely excited about this group. I think this class will continue to help grow our competitive culture and help bring even more depth and energy to an already deep lineup," said Walton. "I can't wait to get them on campus and get started."
The Owls welcome a contingent of high school seniors, including six from Georgia. Sydney Borgelt, Ashley Burns, Kendall Hoskins, Tianna Rivera, Elizabeth Rodenroth, Riley Rose, and Teresa Wowk comprise a highly skilled and successful class.

Sydney Borgelt – Buford, Ga. | Buford HS | Midfielder
- 2018 and 2019 Gwinnett Daily Post All-County and All-Region
- Led the Wolves to a 2017 state runner-up finish
- Varsity Team Captain
- Played for AFU and GSA ECNL that finished 3rd in the Southeastern Conference and qualified for the 2019 ECNL Nationals
- 2018 Varsity Player of Excellence
- Plans to major in Marketing or Communications
- Chose the Owls over the College of Charleston
- National Honors Society and Student Leadership Council member

Ashley Burns – Kennesaw, Ga. | Kennesaw Mountain HS | Midfielder
- Broke KMHS single-season scoring record (22)
- First Team All-County as a junior
- Varsity Golden Boot Award Winner as a freshman
- Second Team All-County as a sophomore and freshman
- First Team All-Region as a sophomore and junior
- Offensive Player of the Year 2018 - Most Goals and Assists
- Five-time man of the match game ball recipient as a junior
- 2019 Offensive Player of the Year
- Two-time KMHS Athlete of the Week Recipient

Kendall Hoskins – Suwanee, Ga. | Peachtree Ridge HS | Forward
- Four-year varsity member
- Three-year starter for the Lions
- Region champion as a sophomore
- Played two years for each UFA RPL and GSA ECNL Composite
- Led GSA to the ECNL nationals as a junior and fourth place finish.
- Plans to major in Chemistry
- Chose the Owls over West Georgia and Columbus State among others

Tianna Rivera – Miami, Fla. | Coral Reef Senior HS | Forward
- First Team All-Dade County as a junior
- Honor role every year
- Won two district championships and three GMAC championships
- Led the Barracudas with 42 goals as a junior
- Has played club soccer for Prime Soccer Club, Sunrise Sting, and Sunrise Prime where she is a captain
- Played for Pinecrest Premier (2017-18) and led club to a State Championship
- Plans to major in Business

Elizabeth Rodenroth – Macon, Ga. | Howard HS | Forward
- 2019 First Team All-Region and three-time HHS Offensive Player of the Year

- Played on AFC Lightning '02 Elite club squad that won the Georgia State Cup
- Kicker on Howard football team
