KENNESAW, Ga. – As the Kennesaw State football team prepares for its home opener on Sept. 15, here are five things every Owl fan should know before making their way to Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The BIG Change
The first thing you need to know about Kennesaw State football gameday is that gates will open
60 MINUTES before kickoff for every game at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. And don't forget, the
CLEAR BAG POLICY implemented last year is still in effect at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
1. Download the Owl Rewards app today! (Download!)
Being a fan of the Owls just got better, as the brand new Owl Rewards app is now available for download in the app store. Simply download the app and start earning reward points at the first home football game. Fans can earn points by checking in at games and other pre-determined locations, arriving early and supporting the Owls. The more points you get, the more rewards will be sent to your phone! You'll get 100 points just for downloading the app today!
2. New Owl Walk location
During the first three years of the program, the Owl Walk has become one of the favorite tailgate traditions as fans welcome Coach Bohannon and the team to the stadium two hours before kickoff. Starting this year, the location of Owl Walk has changed. The team will now be dropped off on Busbee Drive at the entrance to the green lot and make its way toward the stadium. So arrive early and line the streets two hours before kickoff to welcome the team!
3. Gates open 60 minutes before kickoff
As you enjoy your tailgate, keep in mind that gates to Fifth Third Bank Stadium open 60 minutes before kickoff. Make plans to arrive early, get in your seat, enjoy warmups and cheer on the Owls at kickoff!
4. Purchase your tickets early
There are plenty of ways to secure your tickets for the 2018 season, including season tickets, a mini plan, military appreciation discounts, young alumni packages, single game tickets and FREE student tickets. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit
KSUOwls.com/Tickets or call the ticket office at 470-578-4849. Also, don't forgot to purchase your parking in advance too!
Student tickets are FREE and can be reserved in advance through the same online system as in years past. This year however, student may also just walk up to the student entrance on the day of the game and scan their ID to enter the stadium.
5. Parking and Tailgate Details (Purchase Parking Pass)

here. KSU also offers shuttle services through the Big Owl Bus. Shuttles run five hours prior to the game and stop running two hours after the game. All shuttles drop-off and pick-up at the CCT Bus Stop, located on George Busbee Drive outside Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
