Game Preview
The Kennesaw State women's soccer team continues its stretch of four straight road contests when it travels to Greenville, S.C. to play Furman on Friday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. (ET).
The Owls (3-1) conclude the weekend with a 2 p.m. (ET) match at Morehead State on Sunday.

Weekend Recap
The Owls split of pair of road matches in Alabama over the weekend. After opening with a 3-1 victory at Troy on Friday, KSU suffered its first loss of the season, falling 6-0 to Alabama on Sunday in Tuscaloosa.
Two early strikes set the tone and sparked Kennesaw State during its 3-1 victory at Troy. Kendall Higgs, Erin Harris and Kameron Downs all scored their first goals of the season. Tiffany Sornpao totaled five saves in goals.
Entering the match winless in three previous outings, Alabama came out motivated, scoring three first-half goals en route to its initial win of the season and handing the Owls their first loss on Sunday. Alabama scored in the ninth minute and added to its lead with two goals in the final five minutes of the first half to lead 3-0 at halftime. The Crimson Tide increased its lead with goals in the 53rd, 68th and 78th minutes.
Scouting Furman
The Paladins open the week 3-0 following wins over Richmond (3-1), North Greenville (8-1) and at Presbyterian (1-0). Through three matches, Furman has outscored its opponents, 12-2. Erin Houlihan and Caitlyn Reilly lead the Paladins with six points each.
Series Versus Furman
Friday's match will mark the fifth meeting between Furman and Morehead State, and the Paladins lead the all-time series, 3-1. The two programs met a year ago in Kennesaw and Furman recorded a 2-0 victory.
Scouting Morehead State
The Eagles are currently 1-3 on the season with their lone victory a season-opening 2-1 win at Akron. Morehead State has dropped three in a row, falling to Pitt (1-0), Kentucky (2-1) and Ball State, with all three losses coming in overtime. Katie Quinn and Colleen Swift lead the team with one goal apiece.

Kennesaw State leads the all-time series, 1-0, posting a 1-0 victory over the Eagles at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in 2017.
Record Start
The Owls began the season 3-0, marking their best start since transitioning to NCAA Division I in 2005. Kennesaw State went 18-0 to begin its inaugural season in 2002 en route to finishing 18-0-1 while competing at the NCAA Division II level.
A Look Back at 2017
Kennesaw State concluded the 2017 campaign with an 8-7-4 mark, including a 3-3-1 mark in ASUN Conference play.Â
The Owls' season concluded with a 1-0 loss at Lipscomb in the semifinals of the ASUN Conference Tournament. Â
Three Owls garnered postseason honors as seniors Abby Roth and Ashtah Das earned first and second team ASUN Conference accolades, respectively. Rookie goalkeeper Tiffany Sornpao was voted to the ASUN's All-Freshman team.
Kennesaw State Team Notes
• The 2018 Kennesaw State roster includes two seniors, four juniors, 12 sophomores and eight freshmen.Â
• Kennesaw State was picked to finish sixth in the ASUN Conference preseason coaches' poll after receiving 43 points. Defending conference champion Florida Gulf Coast topped the poll, totaling eight first-place votes and 80 points.
• Kennesaw State has scored seven goals on the season with each coming from a different player.
• Kennesaw State has scored three goals in two of its four matches this season.

Following Friday's match at Furman, the Owls will travel to Kentucky to face Morehead State on Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. (ET).
