Quoting Head Coach Benji Walton
"We're going on the road into hostile territory for the first time when it counts. We are going to have to play our game in a different environment and will need to respond. Troy got a result on the road at Jacksonville before falling to a very good Florida State team that is ranked No. 10 nationally, and is going to want to win its home opener. Alabama always has a talented team and enters the weekend looking for its first win and will be motivated."
Â
The Week in Review
The Owls are off to their best since 2010 after recording victories over Western Carolina (3-0) and Georgia State (1-0) last weekend at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. Three different players (Lauren Wilson, Morgan Harrison and Kelsey Hahn) scored in Friday's season opener, and Emely Sosa notched the game-winning goal with under 10 minutes remaining to lift KSU past Georgia State on Sunday.
Â
Scouting Troy
The Trojans, who are in their second season under head coach Ged O'Connor, are 1-1 following the opening weekend. Troy traveled to Florida and defeated Jacksonville, 2-0, on Friday before falling 5-0 at No. 10 Florida State on Sunday.

Â
Scouting Alabama
The Crimson Tide is 0-1-1 after falling 1-0 at TCU on Friday and tying North Texas, 1-1, in Denton, Texas. Alabama was predicted to finish eighth in the 14-team SEC according to its head coaches. The Crimson Tide concluded 2017 with a 12-8-1 mark that included a 2-1 loss at Clemson in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.
