FB: Fall Camp Report: August 2

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State football held the second practice of its 2018 fall camp on Thursday morning at The Perch.

Cloudy skies and rainy conditions once again greeted the Owls on the field, but the cloud-cover kept the temperature milder than a typical August day in Georgia throughout the workout.

Day two had the team break out into more positional workouts, running intensive and pointed drills to both recap work done last year and ready themselves for the upcoming season. Thursday's practice marked the last time the team will be required by the NCAA to wear just helmets and shorts as they'll move to shells next.

Halfway through practice marked a turning point for the Owls as the team entered one of its 11-on-11 periods. Kennesaw State's defensive had a strong showing, highlighted by Bryson Armstrong who jumped a route to intercept a 35-yard pass to fire up the team and jumpstart the second half of practice.

Kennesaw State returns to The Perch on Friday, continuing its fall camp schedule. Practices are closed to the general public but full recaps and video reports are available throughout fall camp at KSUOwls.com.
