Owls Earn 2018 IWLCA Zag Sports Honor Squad

IWLCA Full Release for Team Academic Honor Squads | IWLCA Full Release for Individual Division I Academic Honor Roll

KENNESAW, Ga. –The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team was honored for their academic success in the classroom for the second-straight season.
 
"I am greatly pleased with the academic success the team has had this year," head coach Laura Maness said. "Our athletes work extremely hard in the classroom and it is nice to be recognized for these accomplishments as well as on the field accomplishments."
To become an IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squad, the team had to post a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
 
The IWLCA also named student-athletes that have held a GPA over a 3.5 during their careers to their honor roll and the Owls had six players honored.
 
The six players for Kennesaw State that made the honor roll were Monica AlbertsonAlex Bunn Emily Hallberg, Lauren Hoffman, Laura Jordan and Hayley Swift.

Fifth Third Bank is the Official Bank of Kennesaw State Athletics. Fifth Third Bank Stadium, the signature athletics landmark on the Kennesaw State University campus, is a world-class facility that has been recognized as one of the premier multi-use outdoor athletics venues in the country. In the fall of 2015, it became the official home of Owls football team and is home to Owls soccer and lacrosse as well.
