THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State saw its 2018 season come to an end in the ASUN Championship Semifinals against Coastal Carolina on Thursday, May 3.
 
The Owls finished with the second most wins in program history and had the highest seed in the ASUN tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· Haley Swift and Siena Gore both got early goals for Kennesaw State, but Coastal Carolina scored eight of the first 10 goals at halftime.
· Trailing by six at halftime, the Owls scored first in the second half to try and get a rally going, but the Chanticleers answered with the next two goals.
· The Owls totaled six goals in the second half, but couldn't rally enough to pressure Coastal Carolina.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· Kennesaw State finished the season with seven wins on the year. That is the second most in program history.
· The three seed that KSU had in the tournament was also the highest in program history.
· Gore finished the game with three goals giving her 70 for the season. That is a single-season ASUN record. She also said six more draw controls putting her at 119 for the season. The previous ASUN single season record was 91 set by former Owl Sydney Farwick.
· The Owls finished allowing 13.67 goals per game as a defensive unit. That is the lowest mark in program history.
