THE STORYLINE:

Brooks Buckler had the first complete game of the season to lead the Owls to a 7-2 win over NJIT on Saturday, May 12.
The Owls honored nine seniors before the game and it was senior
Grant Williams who led the team with 2 RBI going 2-4 from the plate with a solo home run.
Terence Norman has been on fire this series going 7-7 overall and went 3-3 on Saturday with 1 RBI.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
· Williams got the Owls going early by singling home
Tyler Simon from second base in the first inning putting KSU up 1-0.
· After the Highlanders tied up the score, the Owls scored three runs on three hits in the fourth inning to reclaim the lead. The big hit of the inning was a triple by catcher
Daniel Seres to score two runs.
· In the next inning, Kennesaw State scored two more runs aided by NJIT, who had three errors.
· The final run for the Owls came when Williams hit a solo shot in the bottom of the seventh inning.
· Buckler was strong on the mound all day and closed the game out giving KSU their first complete game this season. It was also the first complete game since
Tony Dibrell had one on April 13 last season.

Kennesaw State will go for the series win against NJIT on Sunday, May 12. The game begins at 1 p.m.
